Sales Prep of Thoroughbred Race Horses

If your weanling or yearling is headed to a bloodstock sale
and you don't have the time or expertise to adequately prepare him, our sales
prep team is ready and waiting to give you a helping hand. With over a
decade of experience preparing babies for the Keeneland and Saratoga sales among
others, you can rest assured that your future racing star will arrive on the
sale grounds in the best shape possible.

Mare A.I. Breeding, Foaling, and Post
Foaling Care
|
Do you have a mare that is ready to foal, but don't have the
facility to provide for an optimal birthing experience? Do you have a mare
that you would like to breed, but need some help making it happen? If so,
send your "mother-to-be" to Owl Hollow Farm where she will be treated like
royalty. Our experienced breeding and foaling staff combined with our
specialized foaling facilities will help ensure that your four-legged child will
arrive safe and sound. Over three hundred babies have been welcomed into the
world at Owl Hollow Farm. Let your baby be among them.

Lay-ups, Let-downs, and Over-nights
|
When your horse needs some time off to recuperate from an
injury, a quiet place to decompress after a long competition season, or a quick
dose of tender loving care while away from home in between events, send him to
"the spa" at Owl Hollow Farm. Our dedicated staff is experienced in
treating injuries of all kinds and our lush, green paddocks are just the ticket
for your road weary traveler. Stay close by in one of several Locally
owned motels or, if your trailer has living quarters, hook up to one of our 50
amp electrical outlets. If unoccupied, housing may also be in the guest
suites of the main house and overseer's apartment.

Introducing Horses of All Ages to
Round Pen Work
|
If your horse needs to start working and is too young to be
ridden, is coming back into work and can't go under saddle yet, or has problems
focusing on his work and is easily distracted; round penning may be the answer
to your problem. Our fully enclosed, 55' in diameter, indoor "schoolhouse"
provides a safe and quiet learning environment for horses of all ages. In
a very short time, your horse will be free longing while responding to voice
commands. An excellent way to teach balance, work on transitions, instill
a positive work ethic, or other beneficial exercises without needless miles
under tack.

Legging Up of Event and Hunt Horses
|
When the new eventing or hunting season approaches and you
find yourself with not enough time to get your four-legged partner fit, let Owl
Hollow Farm do it for you. Our two full-time riders each have many years
experience getting horses in shape for the hunt field or cross country course.
Design your own fitness regimen or let us create one specific to your horse's
needs. Whichever way you go, you can rest assured that your horse will be
ready to go when it comes time for you to swing into the saddle.

Introducing Horses to the Sport of
Eventing
|
If your young horse is ready to strut his stuff at an event
or your older horse would like to explore a new career in Eventing, but you
don't have the ability to take him to a competition yourself, our resident
"crash test dummy" would be happy to give you a hand. Acknowledged as one
of the top, lower-level, event riders in the country, she will patiently and
expertly help your horse find his "inner eventer."

Short-Term Boarding

When you're in between barns and need temporary housing for
your horse or you're finally taking that vacation you so richly deserve and need
someone to look after your horse, send him to Owl Hollow Farm. From
full-care stall board with individual turn-out to pasture board with a small
group of kind and gentle playmates, we have the ability to custom tailor our
services to suit your horse's short-term boarding needs.
